Years ago, our Newport clients stood in an overgrown backyard with a big vision: transform an old block into a high-performance passive house paired with a landscape that felt like wild nature.

We collaborated closely with their builder to create a naturalistic sanctuary inspired by the rugged beauty of the You Yangs—a favourite hiking spot of theirs. Right off the back deck sits a living natural pond, designed to draw in local wildlife and create the ultimate backdrop for summer BBQs with family and friends.
